Why We Exist
Too often, autism services focus on what a person can’t do. We started Alasi to change that conversation. We see every individual who walks through our doors as capable of growth, deserving of respect, and full of potential. Our name represents our promise: to be a trusted partner in the pursuit of independence, whatever that means for you or your loved one.
For a young child, independence might mean communicating their needs for the first time. For a teenager, it might mean navigating school and friendships with confidence. For an adult, it might mean living in their own home, holding a meaningful job, or managing daily life without constant support. Whatever the goal, we meet each person where they are — and help them get where they want to go.
What We Do
Alasi provides individualized, evidence-informed support designed around each person’s unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations. We work with individuals of all ages and across the entire spectrum, partnering closely with families, caregivers, schools, and employers to build skills that last a lifetime — in communication, daily living, social connection, self-advocacy, and beyond.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs. Every plan we create starts with listening: to the individual, to their family, and to what independence truly means for them.
